      As far as I know there has been no album from the [then]current line-up. As you probably know there have been several "official bootlegs" of live material released featuring the original quartet. The info below is from Wikipedia: Live releases Far Beyond a Distant Sun - Live Arlington, Texas (1973) Frozen Over Live (1973, Bootleg Version) Live In Texas - October 6, 1973 (Official Bootleg, 2013 Reissue) Live Anthology (Official Bootleg, 2013) Live In Montreux 1972: 04.30.72 (2016) Live In Miami August 19, 1972 (2019) Live In New York - July 30th, 1972 (2019) also there's the collection of demos for the first album: Lost and Found.

    At 17:04 you'll see the Azimuth Coordinator which they used around the time of Ummagumma. Saw and heard it when they played the Empire in Liverpool back in the day. It received a lot of wonderment and laughter when Rick Wright used it quite theatrically.

    Great addition to the unreleased Floyd catalog! Never heard the title track live before. I wish Floyd would release cleaned up live versions of their early 70s catalog. I love Cymbaline live, though I could do without the footsteps. If you haven’t yet, check out the version from the 1970 Montreaux concert. This a good quality recording with the best version of Gilmour’s solo I’ve heard.

    P. S. The last verse's lyric that corresponds to this instrumental is:"CAPTURED IN TIME NOW THAT MOVEMENTS ARE ALL MINE STILL THEY FLOW IN MY MIND JUST LIKE YOU ". This was the FOUNDATION of the song. It had a renissance style keyboard melody and a middle 8 giitar solo. Thanks again for finding part of a song i thought i would never hear again!!👍

    Hello to all the Pink Floyd fans! I need your help with a song TITLE that people say wasn't aFloyd song but at a little after 8 minutes of this video,i heard a snippet of the song's ending. It was upbeat and super cool.Years ago,i heard the entire song on an FM station. Does anyone have any info on the song's title? There were lyrics to this particular song when i heard it . Many thanks to the person who posted this. I KNEW this was Floyd all along!❤

      Seems like the 1st few songs are; Cymbaline ( version) Roger's Boogie Piece from the movie "the Committee 2nd piece from the movie "the Committee ". As for "Roger's Boogie", I hadn't heard that before...stops just around the 8 minute mark. Doesn't seem as though it in a different form ended up on any of the Floyd albums....not sure about Waters' solo stuff. If it had lyrics as you'd mentioned that would make it even that much more interesting, not to mention rare.

    • @calliopivogiatzis2235
      @calliopivogiatzis2235 Месяц назад

      The piece goes from about 8 minutes and 2 seconds to 12 minutes and 20 seconds. It's very up-tempi,pauses,then slows down with keyboard melody. I heard it as a song on the radio back in '92. It had few vocals,a waltzy up-beat melody with psychodelic guitar solo,and kind of a romantic theme. It could've been part of a movie or just a track from an early post Syd bootleg album

    Thank you to all the Pink Floyd fans who suggested titles for this RARE STUDIO BOOTLEG from around '69. Again,this song was around 6 minutes long and was sung by I believe Roger 2. It featured an upbeat renissance-like organ melody which sounded like a psychedelic WALTZ and a trippy middle 8 guitar solo with wah-wah and distorted sounds 3. The lyrics were of one's reminiscing of a young love with movements captured in time and still flowing in his mind This song wasn't "summer of '68" but if anyone has a STRONG INTUITION about this song title, please feel free to share your ideas with me. Thanks!❤

    God, I love listening to this because you can feel the frustration of both the group and interviewer. The group is more emotional and because they are being asked boxed in questions it doesn’t allow them to give the answers that the interviewer is looking for. I wish I could go back in time and pick there brains more…

    • @madisonzirnsak1342
      @madisonzirnsak1342 2 месяца назад

      For example: instead of asking WHEN they got together… he should have asked WHY/WHAT drew them together. The band is all connected on emotional level and the interaction wasn’t curious enough to allow a space for the responses he hoped for. Instead the questions felt transactional. I could only imagine how they would have responded with the right choice of words to allow an explanation of how they navigate though their music/art.

It features an upbeat renissance-like organ melody that sounds like a psychedelic WALTZ and a trippy middle 8 guitar solo with a little wah-wah and distorted sounds 3. The lyrics are of one's reminiscing of a young love with movements captured in time and still flowing in his mind 3. The song ISN'T "summer of'68" like some folks thought. As a matter of fact, I came across an instrumental jam of the chords to that song on the video; Pink Floyd odds and all sorts 1968 -1977. It starts at 8 minutes and goes to 12:20. When I heard it on FM radio in 1992,it was a complete song with a cathedral-like organ melody,verses,lyrics,and a trippy middle 8 guitar solo. Even if this song was UNTITLED,it's ok,not only was it rare,it was also a definite COOL song!

    There's an extremely rare Floyd song from '69 that was about 6-7 minutes long,sung by Rick or Roger,had a baroque style organ with a renissance melody,,upbeat, a little out of the Floyd realm,and had a trippy middle 8 guitar solo with a little wah-wah sound. The lyrics were of someone reminiscing about a past love with movements still"flowing in his mind". If you know this song title,please let me know what it is. Thanks!

    I heard a rare and early song by Floyd,post Syd,and if anyone knows the title,please let me know. It's around 6 -7 minutes long,sung by Rick or Roger and has an upbeat rennisance sounding pipe organ with a trippy middle 8 guitar solo which includes a little wah-wah soumd. This suggests one of the first sessions with David. The lyrics of the song are of someone reminiscing about a young love with references of how they danced in his mind Any info about this song will be greatly appreciated! .

    My theory why both Roger and David hate this is because the band are large,y a backing band to the orchestra and Ron Geesin’s score for much of the time - and yet it’s brilliant and a favourite of mine in full orchestral splendour.
